An institution serving Northern Burundi
The East African Leadership Institute (EALI) was established to meet the region's need for qualified human resources. Authorized by ministerial ordinance n°610/1760 of September 19, 2016, EALI now trains professionals across several faculties and institutes.
Since its founding, the institution has grown steadily to become a reference in northern Burundi, with three campuses in Muyinga, Ngozi and Kayanza, offering programs aligned with the LMD system.

Dear students, dear partners,
It is with immense pride that I welcome you to the East African Leadership Institute. Since our authorization by ministerial ordinance n°610/1760 of September 19, 2016, our institution has continued to grow to become today a reference in training competent and responsible professionals in northern Burundi.
Present on three campuses — Muyinga, Ngozi and Kayanza — we train women and men capable of combining academic excellence, integrity and leadership. Our motto, « Knowledge to Build the Future », guides every one of our actions: to offer quality education that truly prepares our students for the professional world and for self-employment.
